SUMMER 2025 NEWS
Hello there, Fundy campers!
At our first board meeting of this year, the consensus felt was the need for our community to “get back to basics”. Thus, it was determined that 2025 will be a year of reset, and used as an opportunity to pursue what the Lord wants to do at camp now. Running events the same way we’ve done for years doesn’t make sense if they are poorly attended and not meeting our objectives. What is needed right now is for us to rediscover our roots, and to rebuild, and this is what we intend to do.
We not be using the tent this year. It is very expensive to hire a company to put it up and not enough members having been showing up in recent years to help take it down. Funds normally devoted to this are being diverted to other budget items.
There will not be a canteen this year. Meeting in the Holy Place is taking precedence over everything we do on site this year. A spirit of love, fellowship and hospitality is of course encouraged!

Fundy camp is a private Christian retreat community with a rich history. Founded in 1957 by Pastors Victor Schofield, Burton Shupe, George Spencer and Will Power at the prompting of the Holy Spirit, it exists to provide a haven for spiritual refreshing, Christian teaching and fellowship for its members and invited guests.
Originally under the umbrella of the Pentecostal Holiness movement, the camp was purchased in 1996 by the Fundy Camp Society and became an inter-denominational Christian Family Camp lead by of a board of directors made up of Spirit filled cabin owners elected annually by the society.
We host two main events annually which are open to the public, our family camp which runs during the last week of July and “Holy Spirit Weekend” coinciding with Labour Day. Both events feature live worship music and speakers of outstanding character (invited from abroad) who carry the Heart of the Father and flow in spiritual gifts.
Our ongoing passion is to hear the Holy Spirit’s direction for our community and to obey it.
